-cell phone service is limited in the area.  
(phone is available for emergencies)

The winds and desert terrain mean that the retreat and furnishings become dusty quickly.  

Because this is a "green" home, we ask guests to conserve water, electric, and gas.  All
guests should be comfortable while observing basic conservation.

SWIMMING POOL

The swimming pool at Terlingua Ranch Lodge is available for use.  This is an outdoor pool that is "open" as long as
the water temperature is 68 degrees or warmer.  A key is provided because the pool area is fenced and locked
at all times. The Lodge/pool is located about 8 miles further down Terlingua Ranch Road.  (The last 3 miles is a
dirt road.)
